Today marks the first day of May, a month the US Congress designated as Borderline Personality Disorder Month. So we thought it appropriate to honor one of the people most responsible for driving that legislative initiative. That would be Perry Hoffman, PhD, who also founded the National Education Alliance for BPD and co-created NEABPD’s signature educational program, Family Connections.
Sadly, Perry passed away late last year, a loss that left the campaign to reduce the many burdens of BPD bereft of a compassionate and selfless visionary. Please watch this tribute video made in her memory.
