1-800-273-8255… That’s the phone number for the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline in the US. The NSPL service is available at anytime of the day to anyone harboring thoughts of self harm. The number is also the title of a song written by the socially conscious rapper Logic. Along with fellow performers Alissia Cara and Khalid, Logic recently performed the number on the MTV Music Video Awards show,
The message is clear- no one needs to feel alone and even at their deepest despair, there is always someone who will listen.
