A young woman from Aberdeen, Scotland, wanted to show her graditude for the help she received when she was struggling with Borderline Personality Disorder.
So she decided to jump out of an airplane… to raise money in appreciation for the support she found.
She is Ashleigh Lancaster and the recipient of her gift is the UK mental health charity Mind. “If it wasn’t for the charity I wouldn’t have understood why I felt the way I felt or thought the things that I did.”
Here’s her story, as published in the Evening Express, describing what she did and why.
We hope you’ll find it ‘uplifting’.
