Rasha Alqahtani is an 18 year old Saudi teenager who developed a prototype video game that addresses the increasing prevalence of teenagers experiencing mental health problems, particularly anxiety.
That growing incidence of teens around the world reporting anxiety during the Covid pandemic makes Rasha’s work all the more relevant.
Rasha is an avid gamer herself – particularly the widely popular Minecraft. She recently developed a prototype game that integrates her concern about teen mental health care with her gaming passion. With the goal of reducing stigma and the lack of mental health resources, she’s sharing her idea with the world.
